Ratties say Hello!

Hey Everyone!

Poppy, Fern and I decided to take a few photos today. I got some pretty good ones, since the rats seem to be IN LOVE WITH THE CAMERA! I'm not sure if GRABBING and HUGGING and LEAPING at the camera is "normal" rat behavior, but it seems to be my rat's behavior. Poppy tried to grab it and take it from me, Fern tried to jump out of her cage and take it. Oh...goodness...what am I to do with the little rascals? Anyway...PHOTOS!

Hey there! This is a great pic of the two of them!
                                               Fern!!!!! Such a sweetie!
Poppy! Got VERY CLOSE to the camera VERY QUICKLY as I took the pic, she seemed to have evil ideas in mind. But you can see her face at least:)
Another good Poppy one...and my hand looking really distorted in the corner...yeah.
Rememberance shot! One of the first pics I took of the TINY LITTLE BABIES! OH MY GOSH...they were so small...look at how big they've grown!
                                         Twisted Limbo Photo! Yay!
Sooo...that is the Ratty Batty fun! Yay!

Fern's Advice...

Hiya Friends!

I am sure you've missed me, as I haven't blogged in a while (and neither has mommy.) I've been good...but of course Poppy still walks all over me and acts like an arrogant snot...and I still love her for it. You are probably getting bored of her posts on her stupid evil "schemes" and "plans" which work...but only if you obey her. Just so you know...I can be naughty too...but I'm usually the one to just hang around and be content. If you'd like some friendly advice from your favorite rat...I'm always here! Here are some nice little tips if you want to let someone appear to be in charge...but you really rein:

#1: Just ignore them...like when Poppy steals my food and steps on me...I just pretend she doesn't exist! It works wonders!
#2: Always be friendly...and less devious then the subject (in this case, Poppy.) If you are an innocent little flower all the time, mommy will scold your sister and you can happily grin nicely.
#3: Show your strength every once and a while. I let Poppy do what she wants, but once and a while I take my food back when she steals it and tackle her to the ground. She needs to know I'm not helpless.
#4: Eat lots of treats, take naps, play with your toys, drink a lot and be awesome.

I'm glad I could be of service!

Fern (or Ferny-Werny/Little Rascal)

Poppy's #1 Rule

This is Poppy speaking! I would like you to know that I have rules, standards and stuff that needs to be obeyed. But my #1 rule is...

ALWAYS BE SNEAKY!

If you are not sneaky...then life is a miserable wasteland of un-sneaky people. In order to be sneaky...I have a set of guidelines that will help you achieve worldy sneakiness.

#1: Be Adorable. This comes natural to me, as I have huge eyes and very nice little facial expressions that make it impossible to ignore my innocence (accept when you happen to be a annoying mommy with too many rules...like DON'T PEE ON PEOPLE and NO RUNNING UNDER THE BED and DON'T STEAL YOUR SISTERS FOOD!)
#2: Be in Charge. If you can't maintain a strong leadership position...you are in no state to sneak around and be awesome.
#3: Blame it on your sister. If discovered in your acts of devious epicness...go the the standard back-up explanation and BLAME IT ON FERN!
#4: Aquire Henchmen. If you have others to execute your evil plans...then if they are caught...it will seem like it's them doing the naughty thing...not you.
#5: Have a Big Brain. If you don't have one...then I'm sorry to say you can't be a devious evil sneaky rat (or dog, human, cat, horse, alien, other small creature.)
#6: Act Fautless. I am already faultless...it isn't an act. But if you don't have my great fortune...just wing it.
#7: Obey Me. I always know what to do. Listen to me or else.

Thank you for reading! I'm so glad I could be of help to your evil schemes.

Outside in the fresh air...

Today I took Miss Poppy outside on my shoulder. She sat there for like 5 minutes with the wind blowing in her fur, sniffing the air curiously. She had such a genuine look of wonder on her little face. I laughed and stroked her head. I'll take Fern out tomorrow maybe...she was asleep when I took her sister. I think i'll have to start doing it more often, as everyone needs a bit of fresh air sometimes...to clear their head and make them feel calm.

Have a lovely fall with plenty of fresh air,

NutFreeG, Poppy and Fern:)
