Odd Habits

Fern has a strange habit of leaning out of her swinging hammock and drinking her water upside down, finally, I managed to snap a picture of it. She is one weird rodent...

Usually she is hanging in a more awkward position.

Ratties in a new house!

The rats are in a new place! I moved to a new house, and they're super curious about it. They haven't been able to run around yet, since I've got about a bazillion boxes everywhere and many many many things they could use to get into heaps of trouble. But as soon as I'm unpacked, I'll let them run around my room and bathroom. Yay new house!

Guess who turned #1?

Yay! Let's celebrate! The rats turned one year old one March 22nd and they are big girls now! They had a fun birthday with things to unwrap and TREATS! Here are some pictures of the babies (well, I guess they aren't babies anymore...) on their birthday!

Surgery

Fern got surgery! She had a mammary (not sure if I'm spelling it right) tumor, and she had it removed on Friday. She has to be separated from Poppy for two weeks. Poppy is bored, but Fern is keeping up a good recovery. Very bouncy, I have to stop her from opening up her stitches. Anyway...just thought I should post that.
